I'm a 42 y/o single mom of two boys. Have about 100 lbs to lose and must start exercising but always so tired, in denial, and just have one excuse after another! There are no longer any LA Weight Loss centers around now, but years ago I was a member there and found the accountability measures they had where u check in every 2-3 days worked very well for me. Even daily would be great or whenever needed.. I have been Yo-Yo dieting for I guess 30 years now (ugh! ) and need to make lifelong changes. It started getting out of control after having kids and then divorce but it's no ones fault/responsibility but mine! I can accomplish next to nothing on my own and don't have a person in my life that can understand and hold me accountable, I am so hoping to find that important person/people here!

Hey, do you have a partner yet? I am a married (though divorced once) mom of a 14 year old daughter and two boys 9 and 8. I have lost about 40 lbs over 5 years and I can help you do it. Let me know if you want to be partners!

Hi!! I would love to be your accountability partner if you still need one! I actually graduated with a BS in exercise science/nutrition, but became an elementary school teacher after I married my husband, who is a coach. I have been a stay at home mother since 2003. Despite my knowledge, I gained 65 lbs over the course of the past 8 years...babies, several moves, and the loss of my dad were so hard on my body...actually, I was hard on my body! I am definitely an emotional eater! In August this past year, the first day of school for my kids, I decided I needed to get my rear end in gear. My dad died suddenly of a massive heart attack...we had no idea he had any problems. Very active and a retired police officer. It rocked my world! I put on 15 lbs in 2 weeks. Dr said it was also in part of the shock I was in. Anyway, on August 22, I took the mindset that "My food is 80% important in my weight loss and my exercise is %20 important!" I totally changed my mindset from other times I had tried to loose weight! Before, I thought I needed to workout all the time and then I could eat whatever I wanted. Didn't work! THIS TIME...I lost 15 lbs in just 3.5 weeks! Just by changing my diet! ALSO...I only weigh myself on the 15th of every month! I do not let the scale rule me!! I can't even begin to tell you how much it has helped!!! If you need a partner, I would love to help out! I need encouragement as well! So far I have lost 35 lbs and feeling so much better, but lately, I have not been doing so well. Just lack of will power. I think if I had someone to help out/and someone to keep me going, it would help!

I say yes definitely the more help we have the more likely we would be to succeed! Welcome Ready! I'll send u a private message w my info. I just don't know what the next step would be, if you all want to call, email, or text? What the frequency would be, like only when you're about to go off plan or some people "commit" their food each day to someone else and then stick to that. Is there a format to follow or do we make this up as we go along? I'm open if anyone has suggestions, but my needs are probably setting short and long term goals, planning/committing meals n exercise for the week, checking in w my partners every couple days or every day if that's the consensus, and having a go-to phone call or text in case of emergencies -- oh boy, is that too much?

Hi ladies; I am 42 and have been on a life changing transformation with my hubby and son, since the end of February last year. I still have about 50 more pounds to go. I've lost a lil over 70 so far. I'm retired. I'd love to have some female inspiration and encouragement. If y'all are interested, please message me.

I am a 35yr old mom of three extremely active kids. They are almost 16, 12 and 6. I'm getting pulled in every direction at any given moment. Stuck in a dead end job that I need to get out of and my hubby is just finishing up his masters degree and travels for his job so I'm basically a single mom most of the time. Even when he's home he's bee studying so it's been a very long 18 months. I've struggled with my weight since the birth of my first son 16 years ago:( I joined boot camp at the Y and am down to the last week and haven't lost a pound. Of course I'm an emotional eater and trying to get that under control. I have about 40lbs to lose. If anyone wants to join up with me I'd love to have that accountability! Thanks.
