Retired, empty nester, over 50, need to lose major amount of weight for the LAST time! I actually like to exercise, so I can be a motivator in that area. My main problem is emotional snacking and I find myself running out of motivation to even try again since I've failed so many times. But, I know how important it is, so let's get busy!!!

I have been waiting for someone here who was born before 1960! I have lost 30 about six months ago over six months but then I have been at a plateau and need to lose another 10-20. Let's talk.

I'm turning 55 this month and doing it in style. I lost 55 pounds in 2011 and only have 100 and something to go. If either of you are intersted in a long distance buddy, let me know.

I'm 52, recently had to quit Weight Watchers meetings to help assist my mother with dementia, so I'm going it alone now. I'm trying to work closer to the Zone diet or the Simply Filling (Core) plan in WW. Basically, trying to eliminate more and more of the white flour/sugar/rice carbs from my diet. I exercise everyday (walk/bike) but need more accountability to stay on track. I too am a carb snacker which is my main diet downfall.

I'm 54, I have always been heavy, but over the past 4 years have really put on the weight. Have been going through some very stressful times with my daughter, not able to get out and do anything. During the past 5 months, I have been able to get up and go, have joined a gym and am trying to eat much more healthy -- although obviously not enough. Looking for anyone who wants to help motivate in any way possible.
