I'm 46, have exercised on and off for many years but always end up stopping due to time, stress and lack of motivation. I dont necessarily need to lose weight but my cholesterol numbers are too high and with the history of diabetes and heart disease in my family, I need to get serious and stay serious. I'm married, have two kids and work 4 days a week. I also have a back problem which makes me very careful of any twisting etc required for certain workouts. We just purchased a treadmill but it's collecting dust! Today I did the treadmill for half hour and then did about 10 mins. worth of weights. It felt great. I am an excuse maker and I would love to have a "partner" to help motivate me and for me to help them as well to achieve their goals. Also trying to make better nutritional choices...Thanks!!

Hi Stacy,
Thanks so much for answering my "call for help"! Lol... That is terrific that you have already lost 32 pds. It takes determination and strength to achieve that. I've always wanted to be a runner, I have alot of friends that are but I realize it's not the best thing for my body. I do occasionally run in intervals on my treadmill though. I would love to be your partner in this quest for better health. The older I get, the more I know it's now or never to get into better shape. I certainly have a tire around my middle but I'm petite and need to have a stronger core. Tight shirts are not my friend!

Hi! I'm 39 with three kids and am self employed! I work all the time, staying up late at night and getting up early for the kids to go to school...never seem to find time to use my treadmill which is also collecting dust! Probably need to lost 20-30 pounds to be where I was in my mid twenties....just seem to make excuses. Maybe we can do a three way partnership?? I'm up for texts and emails......and ALOT of them!

Hi! I am also 39 work at home mom. I have one son that I run ragged with and just can't find time for myself. I need someone to hold me accountable! My nephew is getting married at the end of the summer and my niece next May. I need to lose about 50 pounds.

Hi Eliz!
Yes, it sounds great, let's kick each others butt in gear! Between the three of us we have to make some progress. Do each of you find it difficult to eat healthy with the kids etc? I try so hard but am not a big fruit lover at all. I'm a big label reader of any food but with one teenager and one tween (boys), I'm always being told there is no "good food" in the house..lol.
Let's get this party started ladies! : )

Hi Everyone! I'm looking to join your accountability group. I am 41 years old, mother of two boys, work full time, and need to lose 30 lbs. I'm the heaviest I have ever been and really need to get this right!

I'm still on my journey to getting more in shape and taking the responsibility to motivate myself. Not sure where all of you that replied originally have gone. I will continue to work out and stay positive.
