I'm 41 and will begin training for my first ever 1/2 marathon in a few weeks (the marathon is on Oct.28th). As of right now, I can only run up to seven 12-minute miles. I'm VERY slow. What I really want is to get into bikini shape by mid-October for my trip to Jamaica. I've got to lose about 10 pounds to get there and those 10 pounds seem to be holding on for their dear life! So those are my 2 goals: run 1/2 marathon and look great in bikini. Both need to be done by mid-October. HELP! Please! I hate working out. Hate running. Struggling w/sugar addiction. Am a bored and stress eater. But hate muffin topping my big-girl pants more than anything. Need accountability partner.
