Hi there! I'm 51 and have been out of the exercise routine for a while. I eat a lot of healthy stuff, but too much junk as well! I want to make being active and eating healthier routine....something that comes more naturally....as naturally as sitting and eating out of boredom are now. I'd like to lose about 25 pounds, do something active for at least 30 minutes a day, and re-learn how to eat for fuel more than fun. Do you have similar goals? If so, let me know.....maybe we can help each other meet them! Ann

Hi I am almost 50, empty nester, over weight by about 40 pounds (but would feel awesome if I even lost 20). I exercise 4-5 days a week (2 of those being with a trainer) and I do the exercise mostly because I have to. I own 5 small fitness centers (yes I own a fitness center and am over weight!) and I have psoriatic arthritis so I have to keep moving! My hardest problem is I'm a stress and bored eater. I usually do this between 9-12 at night. I'm a night person obviously! I know what to do, I can be a huge motivator with everyone but myself at night! I am doing the "No alcohol april" and have just joined my sister in law in doing a no sugar for 40 days which will go until May 7. (I eat fruits but just cutting out all candy, cookies, etc and watching sugar content on labels) Basically eating clean. Just want someone to email back and forth to for support I'm your girl!
