I really am need of some motivation!! I started the year motivated.....journaled all my food, worked out, and even trained for a half marathon!! I took off 15 pounds, and succeeded in running my first half marathon on April 28th. That is where the story ends. Since then, I have lost my way. Eating habits have become horrid, and I can't seem to motivate myself to work out. Please.....help me get back on track!!!

Hi there! I understand completely what you mean--I did great for a while, and then I completely lost my motivation to make an effort, even though I was not satisfied with my body. When I started seeing about 7 of the pounds creep back on, I found my motivation FAST! I worked too hard to lose that weight to let it start sneaking back. That's why I had gotten rid of my old clothes--when a size became too big, they were gone! And I'm really glad I did, because I started noticing my new clothes not fitting as well, but that's all I have, so I better get my butt moving!
I have really just started getting into running in the last few weeks. I did the couch to 5K program and can now do about 25 minutes jogging. I'm looking to increase my time and pace over the next several weeks. I would LOVE to be able to do a half marathon!! I'm not there yet, but I'll keep plugging along!
